    YEAH, yaeh, yipp – it can’t get much better! I’m not entirely sure why hoomans get depressed when it rains a lot? If they would jump into puddles too the grumpiness might just disappear. Oh if they would only try…….. :)

    As mentioned HERE my favourite ever park in Sydney, Sydney Park is a big puddle at the moment and the wetlands have grown! It is amazing. My person would like me to add that if you like your dog nice and clean you should stay as far away from the park as possible until the rain stops for at least 4 weeks! :)

    Another beautiful spring day in Sydney and my hooman took me to da park. Almost at the end of our walk I discovered that it can also rain from the ground to the sky! Cool!

    It rains and rains and rains in Sydney… That is what the hoomans say about the weather-situation:
    Sydney is set for even more rain after a week-long deluge that saw the city receive almost its entire average rainfall for May.
    After months of dry, warm weather, Sydney received more than 100mm of rain in just a week, with more falls forecast for the next three days.
    Forecasters are predicting heavy falls tomorrow and warning of the chances of some localised flooding.

    Well, I don’t really mind and my mum is fine with it as well. She says she as more it rains as more she enjoys our walkies. Not because of the weather but because of the lack of people in Sydney Park. It feels then as if you were all alone in the middle of a 4.5 million city… Strange feeling she says. Another theory of hers is: once you are wet it doesn’t matter. So let’s run and jump and play and get even wetter – my favourite part!!!! :) The one thing we don’t really agree on is the shower afterwards thing. I’m happy for her to enjoy it but that does really not mean I need one too. Bad luck for me as she can be rather convincing…

    Anyway – here are the pics from our walk today…

    The hot Australian morning sun...

    It is hot in Sydney again! So hot that I don’t want to move during the day :( I guess Honey the Great Dane and Penny know what I’m talking about.
    So at the moment my hooman takes me for walkies at 6 in the morning. I dunno but I kinda get the feeling that she doesn’t really like it. At least not for the first 20min after her noisy clock next to the bed went off. To be honest – the real improvement comes on the way back when we get closer to the coffee place…
    On Saturday we met with a really gorgeous Mastiff-Puppy girl I know because she lives just across the road. And guess what – she brought a girlfriend!!!! A hot blonde I tell you! I was into her straight away because she liked my rough playing a lot. Besides – I have been told that a Mastiff (even a girl) will be 20 times my size (at least) in a few month and I’m really not sure if I’m up for that ;) …
    We had a beautiful early morning walk and play in Sydney Park! Sydney Park is off leash at all times, more info here for those that are new to my blog.

    So while me and my friends Down Under are too hot to even go for walkies I’ll keep reading all those “we have heaps of snow” doggie blogs to get cool thoughts :) Look here: Mango, Bolo, El’bow & Hauwii just to name a few… They all have the stuff called “snow” in there backyards now… HOW COOL IS THAT?! ;)

    We had the park almost just for us! That's Gipsy - cute hey?! As I said - she likes it rough! Two pretty girls... 05 The hot Australian morning sun... And then Matt started a game... Whoever gets there first... Get's the treat! I WON because I jumped over the others!

    We have to do that moving thing… Not overseas like Honey the Great Dane, just down the road… (so I guess I don’t get a travel crate with build in snack bar) I also think moving is an easy thing to do! You go to a friends place for a couple of days and when you are back: voila – new place. I really don’t see the problem there but my mom does. She keeps going on and on about how she doesn’t want to move and how expensive and dark the new place is and that she would rather stay where we live now. Oh well – daddy says there is nothing we can do and I think he also added something like: just suck it up honey… Whatever that means!?
    Now, the bright side: when my mom is stressed she takes me for even more walks then usual!!! That is soooooooo cool. I like her being stressed. Hmmm – maybe not really then the moment we get back she goes in her work-not-talk-mode. I go upstairs then every now and again to make her more happy which kinda works but it seems to only have a short term effect… :(
    Anyway – back to the walkies… Here are a few pics from our walk at Sydney Park! It the Park closest to us and I love it. I’m glad that I don’t have to move away from it!!!!!!!

    Yesterday we went to Sydney Park for walkies and there I had my first encounter with a very, very strange species. It was as a little smaller than my food bowl and had a rather long neck which disappeared underneath the food bowl when I got close. My human said straight away that I should be careful it can bite… Such a small head can bite?! I didn’t believe her… Nevertheless I was only allowed to have a quick smell from a save distance (I kept the length of the neck in mind) and my mom took a few pics. Oh and of course I wasn’t allowed to bark either as we didn’t want to scare it too much either! When I finally got my courage up to get closer she called my back. I really don’t get humans – the moment something becomes fun they want you to stop?!?! PAH! But I’m a good doggy. I walked away, sat down and waited for my mom to point that thing in the right direction, which apparently was the lake in the middle of the park. It was originally heading towards the airport and I guess disorientated… Then we watched it to get back into the water just to be sure that no other dogs can get close. I kind of got the feeling that my mom wasn’t concerned about the dogs… hmmmmm…
