Coogee to Bronte coastal walk

coogee_ 23A few weeks ago my mom, her friend and my girlfriend Dash did the Coogee to Bronte coastal walk. (You can find the Google-Maps link here!) Well – what can I say?! It is a nice walk but definitely not a good thing to do with your dog when it is hot. I would say it’s more of a Sydney-winter-dog-activity. Despite the fact that you have all those showers at the beaches where we could have a drink it got rather hot. For the humans the views are stunning and my mom forced me to add here that graveyard you walk past three quarters of the way is worth a visit if your like to take pictures… For me there were definitely some interesting smells along the way :) . The walk is approximately 3km and it took us 75 minutes to get to Bronte. But we took it easy. There is a lot of going up and downhill and some serious stairs as well.

Dogs are allowed on the walk but only on leash. And we are obviously not allowed on the beaches. :( You gotta bring your own poo-bags as there are none on the way and if your doggie is not good in drinking from those beach-foot-showers (no idea how you call them) you should either bring some water or a bowl… Again – I don’t think you should do the walk with your dog on a hot day! The whole path is in the sun.

See how hot is was?! That's us in the car on the way home.
