I braved the fireworks!

Hi guys and welcome in 2010! I just quickly wanted to share a few pics from last night… Our hoomans stayed at home because we live so close to the city that you can hear the fireworks and us dogs get really scared by the noise. Also my hoomans said that they have done it all – next to the bridge, at the Opera House, on the other side of the bridge, on the water, by the water – so it felt for some reasons right to “just” stay at home. So Ziggy came over with his hoomans and the little hairless thing he takes care of and we had a great night!

Can you see my concerned face?! Yes? You know why I was concerned? There were suddenly hundreds of people moving into MY PARK!

See! Apparently there were there to watch the fireworks - at 6PM?!

I'm sure they are not just there for the fireworks - they are moving in!

See how brave I was? I watched the fireworks close up! ;)

PS: it’s in Sydney Park and you have an awesome view from the top of the hill!

Hi Teal’c! You´re really so brave! I hate fireworks! It´s beautiful, although! Glad you had a great time with your friends! Ziggy is a good boy taking care of the little hairless! Too cute! Hope you get your park back!
A very happy New Year to all of you!

    Love,
    Thor

The Mango is not afraid of fireworks, but my Grandpa Angus used to have to take medications to keep him from trying to go up the chimney (no fooling) when there were loud banging noises. I think watching them on the picture box is a good compromise.

    Slobbers,
    Mango

Hiya! Yeah – I got my park back!!! After the night they moved all out and left lot’s of rubbish but the council has cleaned everything and my park is now my park again. :)

Mango – you are really big! So you must be really brave anyway!!!!!! It doesn’t surprise me that fireworks don’t bother you. :)

Slobbers for the both of you!

Happy New Year! Penny and I stayed home also, but we had the added excitement of a massive electrical storm over Melbourne.
