24.05.10 # 20:55 # raw food diet # 13 CommentsWhen I wrote about my food the last time many of my bloggie readers asked me questions. Well – I guess it was more from hooman to hooman but I can answer too!!!
So here is what I had last night – carrots, broccoli, cucumber, half a apple, a chicken neck and organic heart mince and some doggie-multivitamin-paste on top. All nicely mixed and the chicken neck came last – as dessert… YUM!!!!!
It really doesn’t take my hooman a long time to prepare the food. She cuts it all up while she is preparing her lunch/dinner and throws it in the blender where it sits until it is my dinnertime. Next is the blending-noise and then I know it is time!!!! YEAH! My hoomans blend pretty much everything green and fresh they don’t want to eat anymore (I pretend I haven’t read that) together and mix it under my mince. So I get the protein as well as the vitamins and the minerals from the chicken wings/neck and bones I get during the day. Pretty healthy and balanced I would say…

And that is my pressie for Dash! My mum isn't working from home today so I get to spend the day at Dash's house with a BIG BONE!!!!!
IT’S A DOGS LIFE!!!!

Hiya all of you!
Well, that is not exactly a hooman meal
My hoomans are planteaters and my mum seems to have some difficulties preparing all the raw meat and bones for me but she still does. I guess that means she really loves me!
No leftovers for me
Apparently “spices” whatever that is, isn’t good for me?! Why don’t they just cook without them then?!?!?

That’s a bowl of wholesome goodness you have there, Teal’c… and prepared with love too… Dash is one lucky dog to have you as a furiend
Yup, there are selective pet-friendly restaurants over here but not many though… usually the pet-friendly ones have an open-air area for customers with pets.

You’ve got meat … you’ve got veg … what else could you ask for?
We’ve been interested in other raw food ideas. Right now we have a pre-packeaged raw food that we buy, but with our summer break we might start experimenting with more options. Did it take time for your stomach to get accustomed to the food?
Hiya – nah, my tummy is quite used to it I think but my hooman has fed me like that ever since
Guess I’m one lucky dog
That sounds like a good well-balanced meal, and delicious also!
I’m interested to know what kind of bone it was at the end of the post.
Hi Parlance! Now that is a tricky question as my mum is a) a vegetarian and b) not a native English speaker. So she just missed out on learning all the words concerning meat. When she orders the bones from my butcher-friend I can hear her say: 2 dinosaur bones please… and later one there are 2 huuuuuge bones for me in the kitchen. But she said she thinks it must be a part of a poor dead cow

Yum – that looks delicious!! I eat a similar diet, although mine just comes to me whole and doesn’t go through a blender first…my mouth can do the blending – ha! ha!
Yeah – I guess you are right! I get that sometimes too. But it is a big mess, not that I care BOL! But how do you eat your veggies if not mixed under the mince?!?

That sounds fantastic! What a wonderful mom you have.

Du hast wohl Deinen Hundefreunden die Mahlzeit Deines Hundes vorgestell?
Es sind bestimmt alle Hunde begeistert davon und hätten auch gerne solche leckere Sachen.
