27.11.09 # 4:26 # My doggie friends # 6 CommentsLet’s start with – I’M A VERY VERY LUCKY DOG! Both of my humans work from home most of the time. Well, my mom does my dad isn’t here much but when he is then he works from home as well and it’s haven! (SEE my last post about a day with him!) My humans also think that a dog is not made for sitting in the backyard on his own for 10 hours each day. Sometimes there is no other way and as long the doggies are taken for longs walks in the morning and evening – all good but some don’t get out ever… OK, let’s not go there now!
Anyway – so when my mom isn’t working from home I’m usually staying the day at Dash’s place or at the Kindergarten (I love both!)… Normally my mom drops me off at Dash’s in the early morning. It is that way round because it is more convenient for the humans because Dash’s human leaves later them my mom. But not today! Today everything was different – we stayed at my place. As you can see HERE Dash’s backyard is not that nice at the moment but they have to wait for the builders to leave before they can make it nice again… The other reason why Dash hasn’t stayed at my place (for that long, unsupervised) yet is because she loves destroying things when she gets bored – no matter how many toys we have. Well, and my mom really likes her Frangipani trees… But today is was very hot so they decided to give it a go as I have my little pool and a big sunsail in the backyard…
It was cool and we/she almost behaved perfectly… But I felt watched the whole day… I didn’t know why until my mom showed me the pics she had taken with her webcam during the day. My humans are both kind of geeky with lots of computer stuff… So my mom set up a laptop with webcam and created a skype account for me – how cool is that!!!! Now my doggie friends could, theoretically, call me! She says she feels much better now knowing that we are ok during the day… Busy playing, running around, sleeping, playing, pool, sleeping well and Dash destroying my water bowl… She did that 2 minutes after her human had left! 2 MINUTES! That much for the being bored theory… 
She also had a quick go at one of the trees but decided then that it was no fun – lucky her!

Ohhh nooooooo!!!! Not the trees! PLEASE! (my human thought the same and felt quite helpless so far away!)

Back to give the bowl the rest...

Or something on the front door?!

You have a playmate in Dash when your parents not around, that’s great. Dash looks like you too. The spycam thingy is cool… if only we can see our humans also… hehe.

that was such a nice day at yours!!! I real’y enjoyed it and my mom say’d that I can have a pool to when our Backyard is fixed, how cool is that?!
I need to take a rest now, Mom took me to the Park and I run after the stick a lot, so I’m very tired now because it’s hot outside, and she REFUSED TO CARRY ME HOME!!!

hehe – it was a great day! Except from the spying bit… Oh well, what can a dog do…….. See you soon at the BBQ maybe some sausages will fall?!
That looks like a fabulous idea. Do I need a skype account to watch the video clips?
Do you talk to them as well – lol…

Hi Parlance! I know those thingys look a bit like movie clips but they are only screen shoots from the skype conversation / spying my human and I had
So nothing will move as they are just stills. But you got my mom all curious now trying to find out if you actually can record a skype conversation like that.. 
@ Troy – nope, no talk… Mom thinks that would make me even more nervous…
